Chris holds a BA in Youth Ministry & Adolescent Studies and a Masters in Leadership in Ministry from Judson University. He served the community for over fifteen years as a Director at YouthHope. While there, he developed a creative arts program called M.A.D. Skills that engaged students in creative arts. His poetry program gave students opportunities to tour colleges, perform in competitions, and put in shows for their community.

He now works at Thurgood Marshall Learning Center as their Digital Media & Creative Expressions Instructor. Chris lives in Rock Island with his wife, Trisha. Together they have three beautiful girls: Jada, Jordan, and Alyse.
